Why do we experience sun damage?

Sun damaged skin results from daily exposure to sun without proper protection or maintenance. Signs of sun damage include brown spots, fine lines, dryness and hyperpigmentation.

At the Physician Skincare Centre, we use laser technology to provide patients a non invasive option for reducing the look of sun damaged skin.

Your solution for reducing sun damage

Cutera’s Limelight treatment is a form of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy that can help reduce the look of redness, brown spots and broken capillaries.

During the procedure, the entire face is gently scanned with the IPL hand piece to properly repair damaged skin. Individuals might feel a pinching sensation as the Limelight laser works its magic.

Immediately following treatment, your skin may experience temporary mild redness and swelling but there is zero downtime involved with the Limelight procedure.

The treatment is completely non invasive, therefore patients can go back to their regular routine immediately following treatment.

Be patient; for most individuals, results will start to show a few weeks after treatment. A series of 3-5 treatments (one every 3-6 weeks) is recommended for optimal results.
