If DIY face masks and over-the-counter products haven’t proven to be effective, keep calm because there’s new hope for achieving smooth, clear skin. At our clinic, we specialize in treating skin ailments like acne, uneven skin tones and acne scars.

Find out which of the three professional-grade treatments we offer at our clinic is best suited for you and get ready to experience some serious results:

1. Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an amazing skin treatment that exfoliates and stimulates the surface of the skin. It removes dead skin cells and allows for new cells to grow in their place. It also speeds up collagen growth, which is what give skin its soft, supple appearance.

A microdermabrasion treatment typically takes 30 minutes to perform and is completely painless and non-invasive. A skincare professional will move a tip wand with fine crystals over the surface of the skin to buff away the surface layer that carries all of the dead skin cells. The skincare professional will be sure to apply the scrub evenly throughout the face to boost circulation on the surface of the skin. Afterwards, a vacuum suction is applied to free the pores of fine dirt and debris. Finally, a face mask is used to soothe and moisturize the face. Clients may experience minor redness immediately following treatment but the redness is temporary and you’ll notice a freshness in your face shortly after treatment!

2.  Hydrafacial

The Hydrafacial is the ultimate in non-laser skin rejuvenation. It consists of a five step cleansing process that is designed to treat acne, hyper pigmentation, sun damaged skin and uneven skin tones. Basically, it’s the cure all for problematic skin! A typical hydrafacial includes:

  1. Exfoliation: The skin is carefully exfoliated in order to remove dead skin cells and make room for new cell growth.
  2. Acid peel: A salicylic acid peel is applied to the face to further loosen debris.
  3. Extraction: A Vortex-Fusion vacuum is gently used to clean out pores.
  4. Hydration: Hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring sugar found in the body, is applied in combination with antioxidants to deliver moisture deep into the skin’s surface and boost skin elasticity and collagen growth.
  5. Protection: A clinical-grade skin moisturizer is used to protect the skin from any further damage and maintain the results from the treatment.

When done on a monthly basis, a Hydrafacial can significantly help oily or congested skin ward off acne-producing bacteria and diminish acne scars caused from previous breakouts.

3. Pearl Laser

The Pearl is our most advanced method for treating acne-ridden skin. It’s a resurfacing treatment that restores and rejuvenates the surface of the skin through the use of light therapy. The Pearl is particularly suitable for individuals with mild acne scarring, uneven skin texture and sun damage.

During treatment, pulses of light are used to send heat deep into the skin’s surface to stimulate new collagen growth, and remove the old, damaged layer of skin up top. Over the next few days, the natural protective dressing that is formed will shed to reveal glowing, even-toned skin underneath. The Pearl is a great alternative to the more invasive Pearl Fractional laser treatment, requiring only 3-4 days of recovery time and often only a one time appointment.
