Microdermabrasion Treatment

Microdermabrasion takes approximately 30 minutes to perform. During the treatment, a diamond tip wand is gently passed over the skin, which loosens the outermost layer of dead skin cells. At the same time, a vacuum suction removes the cells and clears the pores of debris. The degree of exfoliation and suction can be customized for each patient. A soothing mask is then applied to calm the skin and restore hydration.

There is little, if any, discomfort associated with microdermabrasion. Immediately after treatment the skin may be slightly pink or red, and there may be a slight tingling sensation which is temporary. Makeup may be worn immediately after, and patients typically resume their normal activities.
